The Ellington Economic Development Commission encourages you to support local businesses and participate in this year’s annual buy local campaign - Shop Ellington 2025.  The event kicks off on Friday, November 28 and runs through Sunday, December 14. During the event, patrons will earn Shop Ellington bingo stickers by visiting participating businesses and may enter qualifying bingo cards in a raffle prize drawing (eight $25 pre-paid gift cards).  A bingo card with at least one row or column filled with Shop Ellington stickers is eligible to enter the raffle drawing – there’s no maximum number of bingo cards that may be entered.

To print a bingo card, obtain a list of participating businesses, or get more details about the event, please visit our Shop Ellington webpage. You may also contact the Ellington Town Planner’s Office at 860-870-3120, extension 1 to obtain more information.

The raffle drawing will be held on December 17, 7:00 pm, at a special meeting of the Economic Development Commission; attendance at the meeting is not required to win but is welcome. Instructions to attend the meeting will be listed on the EDC meeting agenda; a copy of the agenda will be available on the website or from the Town Planner’s Office.
