The Ellington Veterans Coffeehouse welcomed Military Author Marc Youngquist at its May 19th event at Hall Memorial Library. Youngquist is a retired Master Sergeant with the CT National Guard's 143rd Military Police Company. He spoke about his book, his experiences, and the soldiers he served with while recruiting, training, and preparing an Iraqi Police Force is 2003-2004.
Our Veterans' Coffee House meetings meet the third Thursday of the month at Hall Memorial Library, 93 Main Street, Ellington.
The program brings together veterans from all services and eras in a comfortable setting to meet, socialize, seek and share information on their military experiences, learn about local and State Veteran's benefits and services and to enjoy a cup of coffee.
