Timeline of Project Approvals/Action
Monday, November 14th - The Board of Selectmen recommended appropriation/borrowing authorization and referred this project to the Board of Finance for action; (Meeting Minutes)
Wednesday, November 16th - The Board of Finance recommended appropriation/borrowing authorization for the project; (Meeting Minutes)
Monday, November 21st - The Board of Selectmen submitted the Bond Resolution for the project to Town Meeting, and set the Town Meeting and Referendum dates; (Meeting Minutes)
Tuesday, January 3rd - The Notice of Special Town Meeting/Referendum will be published in the Journal Inquirer; (View Notice)
Tuesday, January 10th - A Special Town Meeting will be held at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium at Ellington High School - the Bond Resolution will be introduced and discussed and the meeting will adjourn to referendum;
Thursday, January 19th - A Referendum will be held between the hours of 6:00 am and 8:00 pm at the Ellington Senior Center.
