There are many ways to get involved and give back to the community.

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
Description/Duties: Aiding residents in the event of disaster. Local training provided; occasional meetings to maintain skills and update procedures. Project is ongoing.
Once your application is received, a staff member will schedule an interview to meet with you and review the requirements of the assignment. If you need documentation verifying the number of service hours completed, please use the Confirmation of Volunteer Services Hours Form.
Community voice channel (cvc)
Description: Training includes learning how to film using a Canon GL-2, learn camera terms and language, learn how to edit using Adobe Premiere Pro. After training, equipment is available to sign out, in return for a program; film events happening within and around Ellington; make your own show; be crew for another volunteer.
