Public Hearing - Town Administrator & First Selectman Positions
The purpose of the Public Hearing is to allow citizens to comment upon the Board of Selectmen's approval of the addition of a Town Administrator position and the transition of the First Selectman position to part-time.

At the February 28, 2022 special meeting of the Board of Selectmen, the job descriptions for both the new Town Administrator and the amended, part-time First Selectman position were approved by the BOS; other details on this topic were also discussed.
At the June 13, 2022 regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen, the BOS members set this Public Hearing date to allow individuals to comment and ask questions about these changes to the current operating structure of the Town of Ellington.
