Hiring of Matt Evans, Finance Officer/Treasurer

Matt previously served as Financial Planning & Analysis Manager of Buncombe County (North Carolina). He has extensive experience in financial planning, strategic fiscal management, and operating and capital budget coordination, as well as a deep commitment to public service.

His background and experience in governmental accounting make him exceptionally well-suited for this leadership role, and he looks forward to working closely with each department to identify and safeguard the Town’s assets.
