“The most meaningful part of the job is customer service and always listening to the residents, offering help wherever I can. Prior to working in Ellington, I held a Connecticut Real Estate License; this experience was beneficial when it came to land record recording and understanding the process. I enjoy working in a public-facing role."

"My greatest inspiration comes from all Connecticut Town Clerks that have come before me and still serve to this day. Everyone I meet is very passionate about their work with preserving land records, vital records, dog licensing, and elections. The office is diverse in that we handle a wide variety of tasks daily, and I enjoy the change in duties and meeting and helping different residents each day."

“Support from all of the different Town Departments is one of the most important aspects of serving the residents. We field many questions on a daily basis and I can always count on my peers to help and assist when called upon.”
