The 2023 Town of Ellington employee Flu Clinic provided 26 employees with their flu shots.  Thanks to Todd and Dr. Rampal from Priority Urgent Care for a successful clinic.  Watch here next year for the 2024 date.  Thank you, everyone.

Paylocity

 

Your Pay

Payroll is located within the Finance Office and is administered by Scott Naylor, Accounting and Payroll Specialist.  Scott can be reached at snaylor@ellington-ct.gov or at 860-870-3115 for questions related to Payroll.

Payroll is processed bi-weekly through Paylocity.  It is a paperless system, therefore employees are encouraged to utilize the Paylocity App, available in the App store.  You can also sign into Paylocity at access.paylocity.com.  The Town's company ID is B7334 and from there you can create an account.  

Paylocity is your source for information about your pay, tax documents, time off accruals and approvals and more.

Quantum’s Care Coordinators will be the main contact for employee/member assistance. Quantum offers the following enhanced services to State of Connecticut Partnership plan members:

  • Dedicated call center with 125 state-dedicated Care Coordinators ready to answer HEP and benefit questions
  • A new online member benefits portal and MyQHealth app provide:
    • HEP compliance status
    • Chat, send a secure message or click-to-call a Care Coordinators for assistance
    • Secure, one-click access to the Anthem and CVS  and Cigna dental (if applicable) member-registered websites
    • Provider search tools
    • Links to benefit programs (like diabetes, orthopedic care and wellbeing seminars)

The Town of Ellington funds a 401a Money Purchase Pension Plan through Voya for eligible employees.  The Town will contribute 7.1% of your pay and will match up to 4.64% of your contribution into the plan.

To participate in the Town's match, complete this form and forward it directly to the Finance Office at Town Hall (401a employee contribution authorization)

The Town also offers all employees the opportunity to participate in a Voya Governmental 457(b) Retirement Plan that is employee contribution only.  If you would like to participate in this plan, complete this form and forward it directly to the Finance Office (457(b) Retirement Plan Participation Agreement)

Mutual of Omaha

Mutual of Omaha serves as the Town's provider for Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance.  Each employee should complete a beneficiary designation form and should update the form with any life changes that may affect your choices.  Please be sure to provide Human Resources with an updated beneficiary form when necessary.
