Fire Marshal

It is the Mission of the Ellington Fire Marshal’s Office to promote public safety and to prevent and limit the incidents of fire through the use of code compliance inspections, fire and explosion investigation, plans examination and supporting public education. 

Connecticut statutes, model codes, and industry best practice will be used to guide this department in ensuring the safety of those who live, work, and visit the Town of Ellington. 

This Office will develop and implement a community risk reduction plan to reduce, mitigate, or eliminate the community’s risk.  Our office will always strive to provide effective, efficient, and resourceful customer service.
