Visit the CRCOG website for more information about its application opportunity for Low to Moderate-Income families suffering from crumbling foundations to apply for additional remediation assistance.   • Chartered and licensed as a captive insurer to assist the State of Connecticut with the fair and equitable adjustment of homeowner claims resulting form the pyrrhotite-affected home foundations natural disaster.

  • Provides financial assistance to eligible homeowners

11/28/2017 - Gov. Malloy Announces State Begins Providing Reimbursements to Northeastern Connecticut Homeowners for Testing of Crumbling Foundations

  • Homeowners can begin applying for reimbursements by visiting www.foundationtesting.org and submitting an application.

State of CT Form for Crumbling Foundations

Jonathan Harris, Commission of the State Department of Consumer Protection, stated that people who are affected by crumbling foundations need to file a complaint to assist with the investigation. He added that homeowners don't need to have a structural engineer inspect homes prior to registering with the state. Please see the attached form or visit the State Website.
