Winterfest and
Tree-Lighting Ceremony held on

Thank you to the Winterfest Committee, Chairman Ellen Karadimas and Sue Phillips, Hall Memorial Library Director for making sure a great time was had by all!

  • The Ellington Boy Scouts will be on the Town Green holding their fundraising Wreath Sale from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 1.

Event Details

Established in 2004, Ellington Annual Winterfest and Tree-Lighting Ceremony is held the first weekend in December. The weekend includes a series of events to promote community and holiday spirit in the Town of Ellington. Events include the Tree-Lighting Ceremony, a Holiday Concert, Open House at the Nellie McKnight Museum, the Torchlight Parade, and Photo Opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus, Frosty the Snowman, and Rudolph and Red-Nosed Reindeer!
