The principle function of the Connecticut State Police personnel is to protect life and property. This is done by a team consisting of a State Police Sergeant and 4 Resident State Troopers, 11 Police Constables, 2 Marine Constables and Troopers from Troop C in Tolland.
 
The team is backed up by the entire State Police Department and its specialized units which include: Major Crime Squad, Detective Division, Forensic Laboratory, Fire Marshal's Division, Emergency Services Unit, Narcotics Unit, Canine Corps, Bomb Squad, Traffic and Truck Squads.

  • Request for a copy of a State Police investigation

Appointments can be made for fingerprints by calling the Resident Troopers' Office at 875-1522.
