The Finance Officer is responsible for the accounting and reporting of all financial transactions for the Town of Ellington- Payroll, Accounts Payable. Other duties are: investment of Town funds, preparation of financial statements, submission of annual budget to the Board of Finance, preparation of bid documents, purchasing agent, and serving as financial advisor to all boards and agencies. The Finance Officer oversees operations in Tax Collector and Tax Assessor’s offices.
