Election and Ballot Information

Election Day is November 3, 2020. The two polling districts will be open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. If, however, you wish to vote by ABSENTEE BALLOT, read on for details about the process - please note, you do not need to call to request an application.

Tax Deferment Program

In response to the Governor’s Executive Order which provides relief from certain municipal tax deadlines, the Board of Selectmen voted on April 13, 2020 to approve effective immediately a deferment of ninety (90) days of any taxes on real estate, personal property or motor vehicles, or municipal sewer use or sewer assessments from the time that it became due and payable.

Presidential Primary - Absentee Ballots and In-Person Voting

The Presidential Primary is to be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Absentee Ballot Applications are being mailed to every registered Democrat and Republican elector in Town, via a printing mail house hired by the Secretary of the State’s Office.
