Public Hearing
Comprehensive Draft Updates
Ellington Plan of Conservation and Development

Over the past year, local efforts have been underway to draft updates to Ellington’s Plan of Conservation and Development (hereinafter Plan or POCD).  The Plan guides land use, development patterns, preservation strategies, and capital investments for certain infrastructure and community facilities for the next decade. The draft updates consider comments from two public informational meetings, responses to a community survey, dialogue from routine public meetings of the POCD Update Committee and comments from various town departments and boards.

A comprehensive draft update Plan is complete and ready for presentation. A public hearing will be held on October 7, 2019, to present and potentially adopt the 2019 POCD.

Please join the Ellington Planning and Zoning Commission, Plan of Conservation and Development Update Committee, Planning Department Staff, and Goman - York for a
