  1. Veterans Coffeehouse with State Representative Greg Stokes

    Thursday October 18th State Representative Greg Stokes proudly represents the 58th General Assembly District, which encompasses part of Enfield. Elected to his first term in November of 2016, Stokes has been appointed to the legislature’s Appropriations Committee and Education Committee. A United States Navy veteran himself, House Minority Leader Themis Klarides has also appointed Stokes to the Veterans’ Affairs Committee. In 1984, Greg graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Missions/Cross Cultural Communication. In 2001, Stokes became the Pastor of Cornerstone Church in East Windsor and continues in that role today. Since 2001, he has served as the Vice-Chairman on the State of Connecticut Commission for Child Protection from 2005-2007, while also serving on the Enfield Board of Education followed by the Enfield Town Council.
